The content roadmap for the successful extraction shooter is now set until April 2026.
Embark Studios, the creators of the extraction hit Arc Raiders, have published a roadmap for the first four months of 2026.
For the first time, fans now have an overview of the specific content plans – even if many details remain unclear.
Each month will have an overarching theme with associated new features. Here is an overview of all the updates:

- New map condition (weather)

Additionally, throughout the entire period:
- New quests

- Comfort improvements
Of course, the April update is particularly exciting for many users, as it will feature both a new major Arc enemy (is the Emperor really coming?) and a completely new map.
According to the current status, several new maps for Arc Raiders are set to be released in 2026, but fans already have a theory about what the April map could be. Based on the title Riven Tides, it is suspected that it is a coastal town.
There is plenty of evidence: Embark has already published concept drawings that could fit this scenario very well. Here are the pictures:
It is an abandoned town right by the sea, packed with rusty wrecks and dilapidated industrial facilities along a steep cliff.
“It would be really cool to see these gigantic Arc machines trudging through the ocean,” commented one user on the fan theory.
Most recently, Arc Raiders introduced a new extreme weather condition over Christmas called Cold Snap, which required players to prepare for deadly cold temperatures.
Cold Snap may be over, but the principle seems to be continuing: “Extreme weather will continue to test Raiders on the surface in the future,” according to the developers.
