We present the most exciting game releases of the week on Steam—including role-playing games and strategy games.
After the spectacular release of Battlefield 6, half the gaming world is talking about destructible buildings, huge explosions, and annoying corner campers. But not everyone is spending their time on the virtual battlefield.
If you’re in the mood for co-op dungeons, classic strategy games, or emotional stories, Steam has a surprisingly strong week of releases – as every Monday, we bring you the complete overview.
Highlight of the week: Fellowship
Genre: Online co-op RPG – Developer: Chief Rebel – Release: October 16, 2025 (Steam / Early Access)
Genre: Online co-op RPG – Developer: Chief Rebel – Release: October 16, 2025 (Steam / Early Access)
In Fellowship, you and up to three teammates venture into dungeons full of monsters and boss enemies. Teamwork is paramount, and the classic roles of tank, healer, and DPS must work together cleverly to bring increasingly powerful enemies to their knees. The developers describe their game as the first multiplayer online dungeon adventure
(MODA). But what does that mean?
What makes Fellowship special: You can dive into challenging endgame dungeons right from the start without having to spend hours leveling up first. Instead of completing a long campaign, you can choose between short 15-minute runs for in between or challenging ranked runs with special modifiers.
Of course, defeated enemies and completed runs will rain down loot. Ever-improving equipment and valuable upgrade materials will make your heroes steadily more powerful. So if you’re one of those players who found questing in WoW and similar games rather tedious, and the real fun lies in dungeon runs and searching for better equipment, you might find the right game here.

- Mohrta: This shooter delivers hard-hitting retro action in bizarre dimensions. - BALL x PIT: In this fantasy roguelite, you’ll need balls of steel to delve deeper and deeper into a seemingly bottomless monster pit. Ball x Pit mixes classic brick-breaker gameplay à la Arkanoid with top-down shooter elements. Bounce balls off hordes of enemies and collect gold, resources, and experience points for upgrades. Between levels, you expand your base, improve your balls, and recruit new heroes for your team.
- CUFFBUST: Chaos in prison! In this wacky multiplayer game, you break out of a futuristic prison as alien convicts – affectionately known as Jailiens. Up to ten players escape at the same time, causing utter chaos: You blow up ventilation shafts, knock out guards with frying pans, hack cameras, and even form alliances when in doubt, only to betray your accomplices at the last moment. The levels are completely destructible and offer dozens of routes for your escape.
- Lords of Ravage: This is a tactical role-playing game with roguelike elements in which you are the final boss. As a sinister overlord, you gather an army of minions around you, from undead skeletons to corrupt knights, to overrun the realm of humans. In turn-based battles, you face typical hero troops, but you let them run into the void: Through sabotage, raids, and clever moves, you weaken the realms between battles. When the showdown comes, your opponents tremble—after all, you are the final boss waiting in the wings.

- Escape From Duckov: Cuddly and tough at the same time – this top-down extraction shooter takes the Tarkov principle and replaces the soldiers with cute ducks. Don’t be fooled by the cartoon graphics: in Escape From Duckov, you venture into a dangerous restricted area full of feathered enemies as an armed bird. You comb the area for valuable equipment, upgrade your hideout, and then try to escape alive with your loot. If your duck dies in the process, all your precious loot is gone – permadeath knows no mercy, even in the duck universe.

- Keeper: This puzzle adventure tells a moving story without using a single word. Keeper—developed by Tim Schafer’s studio Double Fine (Psychonauts)—brings an ancient lighthouse to life. Accompanied by a small seagull, the walking lighthouse embarks on a surreal journey through dreamlike, mysterious landscapes. Each location contains puzzles and memories that you must decipher without dialogue, only through the environment and music.
