This week, you can look forward to a whole host of exciting new releases on Steam. Among the highlights is a bombastic sci-fi shooter that fans have been eagerly awaiting for years—and that’s just one of many interesting titles coming in the next few days!
But there’s much more to discover! Like every Monday, we bring you a compact overview of the most important PC releases of the week.
Highlight of the week: ARC Raiders
Genre: Extraction shooter – Developer: Embark Studios – Release: October 30, 2025 (Steam)
Arc Raiders comes from Embark, a studio founded by former Battlefield veterans – and this experience is reflected in the bombastic sci-fi setting. The title is currently the most requested shooter on Steam and sends you to a future version of Earth ravaged by machines. More specifically, to the Alps in Italy.
There, you’ll plunge into thrilling PvPvE battles: Alone or with up to two friends, you’ll comb the area, fighting not only a deadly robot threat (the eponymous ARC machines), but also rival player squads.
The goal of each mission is to recover valuable resources and make it safely to the extraction point.
Various playtests have already shown that Arc Raiders is absolutely impressive, both atmospherically and audiovisually. That’s why we’re happy to dive into the Rust Belt right on time for the release, so we can deliver our review to you as quickly as possible.
