A leak has surfaced with details about future tracks in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Another Rainbow Road is rumoured to be returning

With the second wave of DLC, eight new tracks appeared in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on August 4. However, YouTuber “recordereader” seems to have already found hints about the next maps in the future DLCs.

Nintendo has apparently left behind some music files in an update that hint at previously unreleased tracks. These files were apparently discovered by recordereader and subsequently shared by Twitter user “Fishguy6564”. The YouTuber got hold of a list with several soundtracks of tracks.

The complete third wave of new tracks seems to be already known with the leak. In addition to Berlin Byways, London Loop and Waluigi Stadium, Rainbow Road 3DS will also be added. The leak also shows a few tracks from the other waves. In the fourth wave, Amsterdam Drift and Singapore Speedway will be added and the fifth wave will feature Bangkok Rush and Sunset Wilds.

With the latest wave, Vancouver Velocity and Maple Treeway are rumoured to be coming to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The DLC will add a total of 48 tracks to the game step by step. Currently, there are 16 new tracks to play, which were released in two waves. The leaked tracks could therefore appear in the next waves.
