Now, the game’s growing universe is being expanded with a major free content update. “New Game Plus is here” – A mode that changes more than you think

A tougher path – with everything you’ve earned
The heart of the update is the New Game Plus mode. Once you’ve completed the main story, you can embark on Atsus’ journey once again – but under completely different circumstances. All weapons, techniques, and armor sets you’ve unlocked so far will carry over to the next playthrough.
Nevertheless, the adventure will be no walk in the park. Developers promise new, more challenging difficulty levels that will challenge even experienced samurai. In addition, fresh trophies await all those who take on this extended test.
Ghost Flowers, Merchants & New Cosmetic Treasures
A completely new addition is a currency that Sucker Punch calls “ghost flowers.” These can be exchanged at a new merchant for over 30 fresh cosmetic items, including additional talisman sets, new weapon colors, and alternative armor designs. For fans who like to tweak their character’s appearance, the update is likely to open up a small fashion dojo.

An expanded progression system has also been integrated: players can unlock an additional level of improvement for equipment.

Even without New Game Plus, Sucker Punch has given the base game a noticeable facelift. Post-game content can now be replayed, which should particularly please completionists.
