At Gamefound’s October Feast (yes, really), lots of good news was announced for board game lovers. We summarize the event here.
Great news for anyone on the lookout for new board games.
The crowdfunding platform Gamefound announced several promising projects in a livestream that will make many a wallet tremble.
We’ll give you an overview across all genres. How about Quake as a tabletop game, for example? Or an alternative World War II with non-human monsters?
This was announced at the October Feast
You can watch the complete stream (in English) here:
Quake – The Board Game
It’s no longer unusual for video games to be turned into board games (or vice versa). And Quake also lends itself well to being a physical dungeon crawler. You play cooperatively with friends, or optionally against each other in deathmatch mode.
A release date and the exact content of the game are not yet available. The funding campaign is set to start shortly.
Fireteam Zero (Reboot)
Co-op tactics again, this time set in World War II, with a twist. Hordes of monsters await you, and we’re not talking about Nazis, but actual creatures with fangs and claws. Sound familiar? The game was first released in 2015, and now, ten years later, it’s being rebooted with new content.
