The new trailer for Like a Dragon: Ishin! gives first insights into the combat system. This turns out to be a lot bloodier than we are used to from RGG Studio and SEGA. In addition, he presents a variety of the available weapons and the different fighting styles that you can perform during the game.

It’s Kyo in the 1860s. In a city plagued by injustice, a samurai seeks revenge and changes the course of history in the process.

As players, you take on the role of Sakamoto Ryoma, who must travel to Kyoto for several reasons. On the one hand, he hopes to find his father’s murderer there. Secondly, he must find evidence to exonerate himself, as Sakamoto Ryoma himself has been framed for murder. By embarking on this dangerous quest, you will put an end to the age of the samurai and change the future of Japan forever. All this awaits you in Like a Dragon: Ishin!

The new combat trailer lets you take part in the battle system of Like a Dragon: Ishin! You can not only pull out your katana or load your revolver. Your fists and some more unusual weapons are also used in the game. Thus, the gameplay is a lot bloodier than in the other Yakuza parts.

At least RGG Studio stayed true to the fighting styles. Take up the blade as a swordsman, pull out your gun as a gunslinger, share your weapon as a street brawler, and more; street fighter with feet and fists or uses a combination of all fighting techniques as freedancer
