On the bricks, get set, swing your lightsabers! This afternoon Lucasfilm Games announced the release date for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Along with it, there is finally a gameplay trailer to marvel at.

Are you ready for the next big LEGO adventure? On 5 April, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be released for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Experience all nine episodes of the main film series and explore the 20 planets of the galaxy. Featuring the combined power of the Skywalker Saga, there are over 300 characters to unlock as you progress through the game.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be the most massive game in the LEGO franchise yet. The action-packed adventure game will give you a variety of ways to explore the galaxy. Gone are the days of simply bludgeoning your way through the main story and a free-to-play game. Complete side missions, take on tricky quizzes or explore the planets on your own with the map tool. No matter what you decide – the galaxy is at your feet.
Those who are keen on some skirmishes will also get their money’s worth thanks to the new combat system. Unleash powerful combos, shoot at your opponents with crosshairs or take cover when the going gets tough.
