A Kingdom Come fan wants to recreate Kuttenberg in Minecraft and is now calling on the Reddit community for help.

Kingdom Come fan Icy_Atmosphere has already recreated various medieval buildings and castles in Minecraft. Now, however, he is facing his biggest project yet: a replica of the town of Kuttenberg from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. It is set to be so huge that he won’t be able to do it alone.

So he has published a post on Reddit in which he not only presents his achievements to date and explains his plan, but also calls on others to join in.

An impressive portfolio of castles

In the post, Icy_Atmosphere shows some of his most impressive works, including castles known from the role-playing game such as Suchdol, Malešov, Nebákov, and Trosky. The community is enthusiastic in the comments. For example, triplesock writes:

That’s amazing! You’ve done a fantastic job!

“Absolutely awesome!”

Now Icy_Atmosphere wants to take his hobby to the next level. He writes:

I’ve built everything. But one thing I’ve never achieved was to create something as big as Kuttenberg. And that’s exactly what I want to do with you! We want to create a settlement that reflects the style, life, and functionality of Kuttenberg – but with a little twist. We can get even crazier, build even bigger, and incorporate our own style and legacy!

The server will feature different factions, with a Kuttenberg-like city at its center. Everyone is free to do what they want, as long as it fits the time period around 1400 and is not too far from our capital city. Small villages, fields, and mills are especially welcome for realism! Of course, you can also recreate your favorite places and buildings from KCD1.

Icy_Atmosphere doesn’t want to recreate Kuttenberg 1-to-1 as it is in the games, but rather make it bigger and incorporate ideas from the Reddit community. Nevertheless, historical accuracy will be taken into account.

The Reddit community thinks the idea is great. User Flat_Nectarine7312 suggests that they could completely recreate the surroundings of Kingdom Come: Deliverance at a realistic distance and thus combine the worlds. Icy_Atmosphere and others from the community support the suggestion. For example, anderzekren writes:

Really daring and absolutely great! It would be a really cool long-term project to connect the maps of the two games!

If you want to participate yourself or find out how the project is progressing, you can follow the corresponding  Discord channel for more information.

If you haven’t been to the recreated Kuttenberg yet, you should definitely consider doing so: Find out how good Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 really is one year after its release in our detailed review of the Royal Edition, which includes all add-ons. You can find the article in the link box above.
