The remake of Silent Hill 1 was officially announced at the Konami Showcase on June 12. As you can see from the minimalist teaser, not much information has been revealed yet. However, we do know that Blooper Team, the same people who made the Silent Hill 2 remake a success, are working on the remake. It is also expected to be a complete reissue, just like the remake of its successor. So we’re expecting completely new graphics and gameplay that will refresh this horror milestone for the current generation.
There is no release date yet, and the platforms are also unknown. We expect it to be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
