In Dying Light: The Beast, the zombies should actually be running away from us, if you look at the trailer.

Dying Light: The Beast is not named after a terrifying beast that we hunt as the character Crane. No, the beast in the zombie game is Crane himself, who had to endure terrible experiments for years and is now seeking revenge. In the latest trailer, Crane takes out his anger on the zombies and is so brutal that we almost feel sorry for them.

Thanks to improved AI, our opponents in The Beast are supposed to be smarter, while our blows really pack a punch with the new physics engine, causing opponents to stumble or fall. Dying Light: The Beast will be released on September 19, 2025, for PC (Steam, Epic), PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
