For a long time we have been talking about the changes within Horizon Forbidden West. Now it’s time to take a step back and take a look behind the scenes. A new video from Guerilla introduces you to the cast of the game and shows how motion capture works.
In a good video game, the different characters grow on us. We can identify with them and experience how they outgrow themselves. Today we want to take a look at the characters who bring the characters of Horizon Forbidden West to life. The new Behind the Scenes trailer introduces you to veteran voice actors Ashly Burch (Aloy), John Hopkins (Erend), John MacMillan (Varl) and Lance Riddick (Sylens). You can also meet the voices of Kotallo (Noshir Dalal) and Tilda (Carrie-Anne Moss).
In the Behind the Scenes video, the cast of Aloy, Erend, Varl and Sylens talk mostly about the character development of their characters. It is about what has happened since Horizon Zero Dawn and how the individual characters relate to each other. Above all, it’s nice to see that MacMillan and Hopkins don’t just get along as Varl and Erend. The John duo have also become friends while working together.
Noshir Dalal is enthusiastic about the role of Kotallo and introduces his character in a little more detail. The warrior wants to realise his leader’s goal and unite the three hostile Tenakth clans in peace. Carrie-Anne Moss, on the other hand, deliberately keeps a low profile, explaining only that the mysterious Tilda is a manipulative figure.
