The numerous spells of Hogwarts Legacy offer room for many possible combinations in battles. But you can also have fun.

In Hogwarts Legacy, numerous secrets, puzzles and hidden places are hidden in and around the wizard’s castle. If you experiment with spells, you can also discover some gimmicks and just play a bit of mischief. There’s one spell you should definitely try on animals (don’t worry, it’s harmless … most of the time).

From sheep to ball of wool

This is about the Transformation spell that Professor Weasley teaches you after successfully completing her homework assignment. You will receive this in the course of the main storyline when you have completed the task Fire and Sin.

With transformation, you can not only turn enemies into harmless objects, but also almost all animals! Go ahead and try it out: A sheep becomes a ball of wool, a deer a barrel with antlers, and so on. The animals do not come to any harm, they change back after a short time. Here, for example, you can see the transformation of sheep and a cow:

If you don’t care about the virtual welfare of the animals, you can also transform the poor creatures a second time. Then they become a small purse that you can collect. Magic!

Transformation can not only be used to solve puzzles or transform animals. Used correctly, it’s even a powerful tool in battle!

If you’re interested in what other secrets are hidden in the role-playing game, then take a look at what our tester Natalie discovered. Our editors also found 12 places you shouldn’t miss.
