Are you ready to dive into the pantheon of the north? The new trailer for God of War gives you deep insights into the gameplay and clarifies the technical features of the PC version.

Released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on 20 April 2018, God of War sees Kratos retreat to the far north after finishing his quest for vengeance against Olympus. But another stroke of fate does not allow the god of war to rest, which is why he must embark on a dangerous mission through the nine worlds together with his son Atreus. While father and son battle their way through these life-threatening environments, Kratos must come to terms with his role as a father. PC gamers will find out in mid-January how he manages to do this and how it affects their interpersonal relationship.

Further on, the new trailer for God of War goes into detail about the game’s graphical features. For the PC version, Santa Monica Studio uses the powerful NVIDIA technologies, which give the game a decent boost. These technologies enable, among other things, more intense shadow casts and improved screen space reflections. This process uses less computing power than ray tracing to create realistic reflections in the environment. In addition, NVIDIA Reflex provides even more reactive gameplay, while NVIDIA DLSS gives the action adventure a general performance boost.

God of War will be released for the first time on PC on 14 January 2022. If you’d like more information on this release, head over to the (PlayStation Blog).
