The Deathclaws are even putting the Ghoul to flight in Season 2 of the Fallout series. And when we look at their new look, we can’t blame him.

Every Fallout player’s relaxed walk through the wasteland has probably ended in the unpleasant embrace of a Deathclaw. This is what will happen to Lucy (Ella Purnell) and the ghoul (Walton Goggins) in season 2 of the Amazon series – as officially confirmed by the first trailer.

But we haven’t seen much of the actual monstrosity yet. The TV series will probably wait until its release on December 17, 2025, to reveal what the Deathclaws look like in a live-action adaptation of Fallout.

Here’s a detailed look at the Deathclaws in season 2 of Fallout

If you’re one of those impatient Fallout fans, we have a little treat for you. Toy manufacturer McFarlane Toys has already unveiled a Deathclaw figure based on the design of the monster in the Fallout series.

So if you want to see what the creature that even makes a hardened wasteland bounty hunter like the Ghoul run for its life looks like, you’ll find it here:

A new design for the series based on Fallout: New Vegas, 4, and 76

The interesting thing about the design of the Deathclaw series is that it combines elements from Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4, and Fallout 76. The demonic face resembles that of the Deathclaws that Courier 6 has to contend with. The body shape, on the other hand, is reminiscent of the more stocky monsters from the last two Fallout games.

The powerful horns of this beast are particularly striking, suggesting that this is an alpha or matriarch – i.e., a particularly large beast that is correspondingly difficult to defeat. The ghoul’s decision to flee from Lucy without warning is therefore becoming increasingly understandable. Fallout: Season 2 starts on December 17, 2025, on Amazon Prime Video. Unlike Season 1, not all episodes will be released at once; instead, the episodes will be released on a weekly basis.
