Amazon is bringing forward the release of the last two Fallout episodes of Season 2. In Germany, night owls and early risers will benefit most from this.
Season 2 of Fallout is heading towards its grand finale! The release of episodes 7 and 8 is approaching, and Amazon has now unexpectedly brought the release forward because (according to the official announcement) the series is doing so well.
But be warned: This change of plan mainly benefits US viewers (who can now watch in the evening instead of at midnight), while in Germany, night owls and early risers will also benefit.
That’s because the two episodes will now air on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning instead of the following morning. So, in theory, you can watch episodes 7 and 8 before school, university, or work.
When will episodes 7 and 8 of Fallout: Season 2 air?
Here are the specific new dates for the Season 2 finale.
Release of Episode 7
- Date: Wednesday, January 28
- Time: 3 a.m.
Release of episode 8
- Date: Wednesday, February 4
- Time: 3 a.m.
And yes, that’s it for season 2! The second season comprises a total of eight episodes.
By the way, you can find Amazon’s official announcement about the release change here. (Please note that the time given in the tweet is Pacific Standard Time and not Central European Time.)

Will Fallout get a season 3, and if so, when?
Yes, Fallout will get a season 3!This was officially announced back in May 2025. And it looks like we won’t have to wait too long for the new episodes. Filming recently started two months ahead of schedule on May 1, 2026.
If the filming and post-production of season 3 proceed as efficiently as before, then a release by mid-2027 would be quite realistic.
