In this week’s free game, you embark on an unusual career as a civil servant in the Ministry of Death.
This week, you can get the puzzle game Felix The Reaper for free in the Epic Games Store. As a reaper in the field, you guide people in the mortal world to their intended end. But death is also interested in life: Felix is in love.
Free at Epic: Felix The Reaper
(Genre: Puzzler – Developer: Kong Orange – Release: October 2019)
You play Felix, who works for the Ministry of Death, and you are madly in love with Betty. The problem is that she works for the Ministry of Life.
To get closer to her, you have taken on the task of bringing people to their deaths in the world of the living.
To get Betty’s attention, you dance every step of the way.
However, Felix The Reaper is not a rhythm game, but a puzzler. In each level, you must change the game world so that your target meets their demise at the end. To do this, you move objects or trigger events on the map.
However, since you belong to the Ministry of Death, you can only move in the shadows and cannot enter the light. In addition to manipulating the environment, your greatest helper is Felix’s ability to change the position of the sun.
This allows you to control the direction of the shadows in a level and find a way to your goal. For additional challenges, there are side quests in each level.

The humorous and sometimes absurd story is told by Felix’s boss, who is voiced by Sir Patrick Stewart. The British actor is best known for his roles as Captain Picard in Star Trek and Dr. Charles Xavier in the X-Men films. Incidentally, Felix’s dance moves were inspired by, or rather danced by, an entire ensemble of professional dancers from a wide variety of styles.
As always, you have exactly one week, until November 13, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., to get the game for free on the Epic Games Store. The only DLC is the Supporter Pack, which does not offer any new game content.
