The blend of 4X and real-time strategy, Dune: Spice Wars, set on the planet Arrakis, will also be available for Xbox Series X/S on November 28. After the game recently left Early Access on Steam, the development team from Shiro Games and publisher Funcom are now bringing the epic battle for the Spice to consoles for the first time.

During the (one-year Early Access) six major updates were released for Dune: Spice Wars. These not only brought playable factions, but also numerous new features as well as balancing and quality improvements based on feedback from a passionate community

Dune: Spice Wars combines the direct gameplay of real-time strategy with the long-term planning of 4X games. The struggle on Arrakis extends beyond the battlefield, and players must control the Spice River. This requires mastering the art of landsraad politics, economic manipulation and espionage.

The game features six iconic factions from the Dune universe to choose from, including Houses Atreides, Harkonnen and the Fremen, each with their own strengths. Whether alone, with friends, as rivals or allies – survival in the merciless desert of Arrakis is at the heart of the gaming experience. Following the successful Early Access on PC, Xbox players can now also immerse themselves in the tactical challenges of Dune: Spice Wars.
