More news about Dragon’s Dogma II could be coming soon. At least that’s what Hideaki Itsuno announced in an interview. In it he also talks about his ambitions for the year 2023.

In the summer, Capcom celebrated the 10th anniversary of Dragon’s Dogma. In the course of this, Hideaki Itsuno announced Dragon’s Dogma II. Those who didn’t know the game director before then experienced his droll manner during the livestream.

These likeable character traits also recently resurfaced.

In an interview with (Famitsu) (9. Interview on the page), the game director talked about his goals for the year 2023. On the one hand, he addressed his private life. He wants to take care of his back pain and get a motorbike licence (- but don’t tell his wife!.

).
On the other hand, he also talked about the development of Dragon’s Dogma II. Here he explained the following:

I’m so immersed in the production of Dragon’s Dogma II that I forget about the seasons. It’s coming along nicely, and I want to improve the level of completion so I can bring you more updates as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, nothing more is known about the title yet. Dragon’s Dogma II is scheduled for release sometime in 2023. On which platforms we will be able to play the sequel, however, has not yet been determined.
