From 12 July 2022, a demo for the real-time strategy game will be available for a short time. We explain how you can try out the campaign mission and what’s inside.

Company of Heroes 3 is your big real-time strategy hope of the year? Is November far too long for you? Then we have good news for you: As of now (i.e. as of 12 July at 7:30 pm), a first mission from the campaign is ready for you. And you can try it out even if you haven’t pre-ordered it.

All info on the new demo

How do I sign up? To try out the mission, you need to register (the yellow button) on the (official website) of Company of Heroes 3 here. Developer Relic will then give you access to the demo, which will run via Steam, so you will need an account there.

If you have already registered for the previous alpha builds, you don’t need to do anything else this time. The playable mission will automatically appear in your Steam library.

How long is the promotion ? The demo runs from 12 to 19 July 2022.

What exactly is in the mission? You play a section from the North Africa campaign of CoH 3. You command the German Afrika Korps and try to defend your position against the British forces.

According to the developer, this African campaign will be fairly classic linear in the finished game, but should entertain you with a variety of features: Defensive guns like the German Flak 36, quick manoeuvres with armoured vehicles, Italian special forces that you can call in for support and so on.

How good will Company of Heroes 3 be?

The developers are hoping to get valuable community feedback from the new demo, so be sure to share your thoughts with them after you’ve tried it out so they can iron out any kinks before the release in November 2022.
