Humankind was one of our biggest strategy hopefuls of 2021 before its release – but also one of our biggest problem children! Because as clever and interesting as its mechanics seemed, they ultimately creaked in practice. Balance, interface and lategame all raised questions.

And now we can finally answer them for you! After a postponement, Humankind has now been released and Michael Graf has played it up and down. In our review, he answers Maurice’s questions: Is Humankind the hit Civilization fans had hoped for?
