Chaos, cult and exterminators
If there’s one franchise that celebrates madness like no other, it’s Borderlands. NowGearboxis back with a brand newstory trailer forBorderlands 4– and delivers not only visual escalation, but also the first clues as to where the journey will take us this time.
At the center is the planet Kairos, a shattered place full of junk, screams and opportunities. It is ruled by the so-calledTimekeeper, a ruler who enforces his power with the help of synthetic super soldiers. These fighters of the “Order” are the backbone of his brutal regime – and are likely to be the toughest obstacle for players in the hunt for wealth.
Of course, there are againfour new exterminators in the game, each with their own skill set and fresh design. If you only think of tried and tested shooting, you’ll be surprised: New movement options such as double jumps, dodge rolls and evengrab maneuvers bring real dynamism to the battle.

Exciting: According to initial leaks, the Timekeeper could not only be a dictator, but also a kind of time manipulator that changes the game world in unexpected ways. This is still unconfirmed – but fans are already speculating about “Time Loops”, alternative mission progressions and bizarre boss encounters.
One thing is clear: Borderlands 4 will not be a quiet chapter. The trailer whets the appetite for more – and gives hope that the series has not lost its anarchic sheen.
