The president of Blizzard, J. Allen Brack is leaving the company in the wake of the current sexism scandal.

The president of Blizzard, J. Allen Brack, will be leaving the company effective immediately in the wake of the controversial lawsuit.
Blizzard announced the news of his departure today and released a statement explaining the reasons behind the decision. For now, Jen Oneal and Mike Ybarra will lead the company together. “Jen and Mike have more than three decades of combined experience in the games industry. Going forward, they will share responsibility for game development and corporate operations. ”

J. Allen Brack himself also issued a statement following his departure, wishing Oneal and Ybarra well and looking back on his time at the company. “I am confident that Jen Oneal and Mike Ybarra will provide the leadership Blizzard needs to reach its full potential and that they will accelerate the pace of change. I expect they will do so with passion and enthusiasm, and can be counted on to lead with the highest level of integrity and commitment to the components of our culture that make Blizzard so special. ”

Blizzard is currently embroiled in a lawsuit filed against the company by the California Fair Employment and Housing Authority. The lawsuit alleged that the company has a “frat boy culture” and has an accumulation of sexism and discrimination incidents against women.
