Those who want to play Battlefield 2042 before its release will soon have the opportunity to do so. From 6 to 9 October 2021, the open beta will take place on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, but you can pre-load it as early as 5 October at 9am German time. We have summarised all information about the beta in a separate beta article.
But beware: Not everyone can start immediately on 6 October. Pre-orderers and members of EA Play can already play on 6 and 7 October in Early Access from 9 a.m. German time, all others can join from 8 October, also from 9 a.m. German time. In the beta, you can play the conquest mode on “Orbital” with four different specialisations.
