From “Holy sh…” to “That was awesome!” – Fans celebrate the Tiefling barbarian’s new evil ending. Warning: Not for the faint-hearted

Karlach in particular is currently the number one topic of conversation Why? Because the actually so nice Tiefling barbarian is clearly enjoying her role as the head creep and goes to such gloriously exaggerated lengths that fans are amazed

How do I unlock the new ending?  You have to select Karlach as your Origin character at the start of the game and then make the right evil decisions during the course of the role-playing game to see the brutal sequence at the end.
What exactly happens in the new ending?Karlach is fed up! Instead of saving the inhabitants of Baldur’s Gate, she unceremoniously enslaves the Elder Brain and controls it for her own purposes. The result: lots of dead civilians, flying devil henchmen and a laughing Karlach who rips out her mechanical heart.

Great praise for the voice actress Not only the dark and brutal staging of Karlach’s transformation inspires many fans. The Tiefling’s voice actor, Samantha Béart, is also praised effusively. No wonder, with that frenetic laughter? Creepy! Unsurprisingly, some fans are also shocked that their Karlach is capable of something so gruesome. As you can see, there are a lot of emotions at play here. After all, we now know what Karlach’s mechanical heart looks like: Not even particularly mechanical, but brightly blazing, as if it’s enveloped in fire.
So, there you have it. Do you see Karlach with different eyes from now on? Don’t say we didn’t warn you! Thank goodness you have to actively decide to turn the Tiefling barbarian into something so evil.
Incidentally, this isn’t the first time Karlach has been in the spotlight after a patch. Back then, Update 2 already ensured that the lady’s good ending was more satisfying. Further proof of how many fans she has
