You can pick up three true classics of the genre from the Epic Games Store this week.

If you’re a fan of role-playing games but for some unknown reason don’t know the old Fallout games, you can now add these missed gems to your video game vita.

Epic is giving you not one, but three games in the series:Fallout 1,Fallout 2andFallout Tactics: The Brotherhood of Steel. With Wild Card Football, Epic is also giving away an arcade sports game

Free game: Fallout: Classic Collection

The three Fallout games are available in one bundle. While the first two parts focus a lot on role-playing, story and interactions with characters in the game world, Fallout Tactics is better known for its turn-based combat

Fallout 1 (1997)

As a survivor of a devastating nuclear war, you must leave the safety of your bunker (Vault 13) to search for a vital spare part.

You explore aisometric 2D landscape, meet its inhabitants with different motives and needs and not everyone is positively disposed towards you.

The combat system is turn-based, the character is individualized via attributes, talents and special characteristics. However, these are not only noticeable in combat, but also in the possibilities for interacting with the game world and other characters.

Fallout 2 (1998)

In terms of gameplay, thereare no major changes to its predecessor The player character is a descendant of the protagonist from part 1.

You set out to recover a technology that can change life in the wasteland for the better. On your return, however, the Enclave has taken control of your home and is being extremely brutal.

Fallout Tactics: The Brotherhood of Steel (2001)

Theturn-based tactics gamewas a little ahead of its time at the time, but is a good address for fans of X-Com, for example.

Fallout Tactics relies more on the tactical combat system than on interactions with the game world and its characters and lacks a quest or clear story structure, from which the plot suffers.

Here you play American football in arcade style and 7-on-7. You put together your own team and play alone in season mode or online against other players

With the Wild Cards you can activate special power-ups during the match, such as invisibility or building a wall.
