After months of rumours, Kotaku finds possibly the first sure information on the remaster of another three GTA titles

After Rockstar Games officially announced the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series versions of GTA back on May 18, new details have now been leaked about three more remaster releases. According to gaming news site Kotaku, sources at video game publisher Take-Two Interactive have confirmed that Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas are in final development status for next-gen consoles and other platforms.

What is already known

The gaming news site Kotaku had reported on Thursday about more remaster versions of GTA. Three Take-Two Interactive sources are said to have the development. Another source has confirmed that Scottish developer studio Rockstar Dundee is heavily involved in the development and reworking of the GTA games. Currently, the studio is helping the corporation work on the versions for the new generation consoles.

GTA for all consoles

GTA titles are planned for multiple platforms and for the first time, GTA would also be playable on Nintendo’s Switch console. Rockstar’s remaster history, which last year included the rework of the classic video game “Mafia”, speaks in favour of the “GTA Remaster Trilogy”.
