Streamer Eskay tried to achieve the rank of Cantina Legend, but the journey there wasn’t really worth it for her.
Only the top 100 players can qualify for the rank of Cantina Legend in Arc Raiders. Streamer Evelyn “Eskay” Hollis sacrificed a lot for two months to earn this title, but in the end, she realized that it wasn’t really worth it.
How do you become a Cantina Legend?
This is the highest rank you can achieve in the weekly trials. Each week, there are several changing challenges (trials) that you can complete with a rating of one to three stars.
The tasks revolve around destroying certain arcs, collecting resources, or causing damage to particularly difficult opponents.
If you want to reach the top of the leaderboard, you have to get the maximum number of points possible in order to quickly climb the ranks. However, players can only climb twice a week at most.

With this in mind, Eskay spent two months and 300 hours doing everything she could to make it into the top 100 at the end of the season and qualify for the Cantina Legend trophy, because only the best make it into that final rank. Was it worth it?
Not really for Eskay. Since she had to play one of the final challenges on a specific map in a limited time slot, but the map was temporarily removed from the game due to an exploit, she lost touch with the leaders.
In the end, she and her two teammates lacked the points to reach the next rank. In addition, other professional and personal commitments prevented her from grinding the necessary points.
For her personally, the experience was also not what she had hoped for. Although she is proud of her achievement, she still has to admit:
The fact is, I temporarily ruined my life to play Arc Raiders Trials. I put off so many commitments. I canceled meetings with friends who only visit once a year. I canceled dinners. I neglected the gym. I put my career on hold. I almost missed a trip to Paris. And for what? For a skin?
In the end, only 14 players made it to the Cantina Legend rank in Season 1. At least Eskay can claim to have been in the top 100 with her squad. For Season 2, the trials have been made a little easier, and players can move up in rank three times a week, and the tasks can be completed in PvE lobbies.
