After a few trailers and short clips, we finally have a longer gameplay video of Alan Wake 2. This shows the eerie environment of the small town Watery.

Yesterday afternoon, (IGN) shared an 11-minute gameplay video for Alan Wake 2. From the perspective of FBI agent Saga Anderson, we investigate the small town of Watery and quickly realize that something is not right here.
Although Saga never lived in the town founded by Finnish settlers, the owners of the local trailer park remember her and her supposed daughter.

In addition to the detective work and organization of clues, we also experience some combat scenes, which are especially eerie due to the dark surroundings of a forest or abandoned amusement park. As Remedy shows, they haven’t forgotten how to create a creepy atmosphere in Alan Wake 2 either.

The seemingly undead enemies have supernatural powers and can scurry through the environment with increased speed. This makes them difficult to track down – and even harder to hit with a pistol or shotgun.

Looking to share more gameplay and behind-the-scenes videos for Alan Wake 2 later this month. We’ll keep you updated so you’re best prepared for the release on October17
