IO Interactive has published the system requirements for the PC version of the game 007 First Light and included several inaccuracies.

With 007 First Light, the Hitman creators at IO Interactive are venturing into new territory. By choosing a young Bond, the developers plan to focus on the secret agent’s early days.

The game is currently scheduled for release on May 27, 2026. The developers have now published the system requirements for the PC version on the company’s website.

007 First Light System Requirements

General

The game supports both Windows 10 and Windows 11 and requires 80 gigabytes of free space on a hard drive for both published settings.

007 First Light System Requirements (Resolution / Fps)
“Minimum” (1080p / 30 FPS)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 9500K / AMD Ryzen 5 3500
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA GTX 1660 / AMD RX 5700 / comparable Intel card
  • Video RAM: 8 GB
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • Storage: 80 GB
“Recommended” (1080p / 60 FPS)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 13500 / AMD Ryzen 5 7600
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti / AMD RX 6700 XT / comparable Intel card
  • Video RAM: 12 GB
  • RAM: 32 GB
  • Storage: 80 GB

The release is causing confusion

There are two inaccuracies in the published system requirements. Furthermore, IO Interactive has not yet mentioned anything about higher presets or 4K support.

A processor that doesn’t exist

Firstly, IO Interactive lists an Intel Core i5 9500K processor as the minimum processor requirement. However, this processor does not officially exist.

Intel has released the Core i5-9500 and Core i5-9600K processors, but not a Core i5-9500K. It is unclear which of the two processors IO Interactive is referring to.

Good to know: The K version is overclockable and offers a significantly higher base clock speed and maximum turbo clock speed.

A graphics card that doesn’t exist either

IO Interactive also seems to have made a mistake with the graphics cards.
In the recommended requirements, the developer specifies a minimum of an Nvidia Geforce 3060 Ti.
However, this specification does not match the video RAM requirement of 12 gigabytes. Such a model does not exist.
IO Interactive probably means the RTX 3060 graphics card, as it is sold with 12 GB VRAM.

The requirements for 4K are missing So far, only the system requirements for 1080p are available. Requirements for common levels such as High, Very High, or Ultra are missing. IO Interactive will probably submit them later. If this happens, we will add the information.
