Leaker HYPEX’s clues tease a collaboration between Fortnite and the Matrix movies. Soon the content should be playable.

In a few weeks, you could potentially play the main characters from the Matrix movie series in Fortnite. According to information from Fortnite leaker HYPEX, Neo and Trinity will be making their way into the Battle Royale “in the second half of December”.

The collaboration coincides with the release of the new movie “The Matrix Resurrections”. The latest instalment in the Matrix franchise hits cinemas on 22 December and stars Keanu Reeves once again in his role as Neo. Carrie-Anne Moss reprises the role of Trinity.

The first Matrix instalment was released in 1999 and has always had countless fans worldwide, not least because of Keanu Reeves’ appearance. The Fortnite collaboration is the fourth in the partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures. Content from Space Jam, The Suicide Squad and Dune can already be found in the game. Most recently, however, anime fans were particularly pleased about the collaboration with Naruto, whose content is already available in the game.
