New rumours about Modern Warfare II have surfaced: According to a leak, a whole eleven development studios are involved in Call of Duty 2022.

A new Call of Duty game is expected this year, rumoured to be called Modern Warfare II. On Thursday, an insider leaked information suggesting that numerous development teams are working on the title.

According to the leaker RalphsValve, a total of eleven teams are involved in the elaborate project. Among them are allegedly the studios Activision, Raven Software, Sledgehammer Games and Treyarch. Thus, some well-known industry giants would be involved.

The standards for the upcoming part of the CoD series are very high. For this reason, it would not be a surprise if so many development studios were actually involved. The leaker added that things are going smoothly so far.

If the leaked information is true and many creative minds are involved in this project, it could still lead to a chaotic outcome, freely according to the motto “many cooks spoil the broth”.

However, the concentrated power of the development studios could also ideally lead to a new flagship for Call of Duty. Nothing has yet been confirmed by Activision and the name of the new game has not yet been officially decided. Therefore, this information could well still change.
