Hidden Warzone customisation – This change comes with the Zipline

No more queuing in front of the Ziplines: A new mechanic comes into play with Call of Duty patch Season 4 Reloaded.

Small change, big impact: In Call of Duty: Warzone, players can use the ziplines simultaneously since Season 4 Reloaded. This allows squads to save a lot of time and hone faster tactics.

The update to Season 4 went live on Friday night and came with a surprise. As Reddit user aur0n posted with a sample clip, multiple players can now use the ziplines at the same time. In previous patches, teammates had to wait until the climber finally reached the top before they could scramble up themselves.

Ziplines are an important game mechanic that can be used to bridge not only lift shafts as in the example clip. Higher buildings reached by zipline often serve as camping spots. In the future, it might not be quite so easy to occupy the airport control tower, for example.

Although this new mechanic can greatly affect gameplay, Raven Software did not initially list the change in the patch notes. However, the developer confirmed on Twitter that it was an intentional change and not a glitch.
