With the launch of Season 1 in CoD: Warzone, Rebirth Island was removed. After a brief return, the map had to leave the game again.

The popular Warzone map Rebirth Island was removed with the launch of Season 1, but apparently not for long. For a short time, the map came back into the game.

A year ago, Black Ops Cold War was added to the Battle Royale Warzone and for this, players received the map Rebirth Island. This quickly established itself as a fan favourite. However, with the release of Caldera, the popular map has been removed for now, most likely to allow the new main location to take centre stage.

Nevertheless, Raven Software promised that Rebirth Island would return during Season 1. On 16 December, the time finally came. Players will be able to play the Rebirth Resurgence Trios mode in Call of Duty: Warzone. In addition, Raven Software has made some small changes to the map. There is now a new lighting system and a night mode.

Nevertheless, the return of the popular Rebirth Island map does not seem to have been long-lived. Due to a bug that was quickly discovered, the development team has decided to remove Rebirth Island for the time being. Raven Software is currently investigating the problem. However, it is still unknown when the map will be available again.
