The new Battlefield is slowly running out of secrets.
A new video provides concrete details about Battle Royale in Battlefield 6. Officially, it hasn’t really been announced yet, but the fact that a leaker is walking around the map for nine minutes leaves little doubt about its existence.
The first reports that EA was trying its hand at this game mode again came in early 2024, followed a few months later by numerous details and, shortly after that, an overview map of the entire location.
9 Minutes Battle Royale
Like many of the leaks, the video appears to originate from a Chinese account. You can see all the material in the following Reddit post or in excerpts on social media. Please note that EA may have the videos blocked over time.
Even the first parachute jump over the map shows that large parts of it are identical to the map that has already been leaked. The harbor, the golf course, and the larger city are clearly visible from the air.
For a better comparison, here is the overview map again in a Reddit post:
The video also shows the possibility of destroying the environment with the sledgehammer, as well as the swimming mechanics.
What do you think of the Battle Royale map?
Of course, this is not official footage, but we would still like to know what you think of the gameplay shown. So please feel free to take part in our survey.
Battlefield 6 will be officially released on October 10, 2025. As things stand, the Battle Royale mode will not be part of the launch and will be limited to campaign and multiplayer. There is speculation that the new mode will only find its way into the game with the start of the first season. There is no official date for this yet.
