Battlefield 2042 – Everything you need to know about the preload and Early Access

The Early Access of Battlefield 2042 is coming soon. Here you can find all important information about the launch, download and Early Access.

Battlefield 2042 is in the starting blocks. The Early Access of the DICE shooter will start next Friday already one week before the official launch. Before that, DICE has published the preload times and download sizes for all platforms.

The preload of Battlefield 2042 is available when an active EA Play or EA Play Pro subscription is available. Subscribers of EA Play & EA Play Pro and owners of the Gold or Ultimate Edition can already play Battlefield 2042 in Early Access from Friday. The official release of the game is on 19 November.

 

The following file sizes are required for Battlefield 2042

  • Xbox Series X/S: 52 GB
  • Xbox One: 27 GB
  • Playstation 5: 43 GB
  • Playstation 4: not yet known
  • PC: data package 45 GB, unpacked 100 GB

 

All preload and launch dates for Battlefield 2042

Preload Dates:

  • Xbox Series X/S & Xbox One: possible since November 6
  • Playstation 5 & Playstation 4: possible since 10 November
  • PC: launch on 10 November at 7 p.m.
  • Start of Early Access Phase: 12 November at 9 a.m.
