The first RTX Spark laptops will be released on October 16, 2026. Nvidia will celebrate the launch at Xperion in Berlin with a launch event.
In early June, Nvidia and Microsoft unveiled the “RTX Spark” platform at GTC Taipei. Now the market launch is imminent: On October 16, 2026, the first laptops will hit the shelves; pre-orders have been open since October 7, while compact desktops are set to follow in November, according to Nvidia.
Nvidia is celebrating the launch that same evening at Xperion on Berlin’s Alexanderplatz—anyone is welcome to attend.
RTX Spark: Launch Party at Xperion
According to Nvidia, participation is free and open to those 18 and older; registration takes place via the event page. Capacity is limited, especially for the stage show; Nvidia therefore advises arriving early.
- Speaking of the stage show: The lineup includes Alexander Böhm (AlexiBexi), FalcoPunch, and Alex Wätzel, along with discussions with developers from CD Projekt Red.
- According to Nvidia, demo stations will allow attendees to try out the “main attraction,” RTX Spark, in creative applications, AI workflows, and games. DLSS 5 is explicitly mentioned here; however, it remains to be seen whether this will be enough to quell the controversial discussions that have been ongoing since its release.
In an on-site raffle, attendees can also win prizes including five Asus ProArt P14 laptops signed by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.
In addition, there will be “exclusive offers on a wide selection of RTX Spark laptops”—the starting prices for these have now been announced.
Pre-order laptops start at 2,900 euros
According to ComputerBase reports that a Surface Laptop Ultra with 18 cores, 24 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB SSD is currently the most affordable model available at 2,900 euros. Models with 128 GB of RAM range in price from 5,800 euros (HP OmniBook Ultra 16) to 8,000 euros (MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+), depending on the device. It remains to be seen to what extent the event offers will be lower than these prices.
In the days following the launch event, Nvidia will remain in the German capital—on October 21, CEO Jensen Huang will deliver his keynote address for GTC Berlin at the Tempodrom.
