On October 14, Polyphony Digital will bring new cars, the Sportsland SUGO racetrack, and the handy Car Concierge service to PS5 and PS4.
The release date for the first part of the major, free Spec-4 update for the racing game Gran Turismo 7 has been confirmed.
Accordingly, the update will be released on October 14, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and its predecessor.
In the first part of this extensive update, you can expect more than five new vehicles, a new racetrack, and the “Car Concierge” feature.

In addition, the car dealership will feature a dedicated “Vintage Cars” section, and Polyphony Digital is raising the maximum collector level.
December Update: A Look Ahead to Part 2 of the Spec 4 Update
Unfortunately, there is no specific release date yet for the second part of the Spec 4 update. The only certainty is that it is expected to be released in December—barring any potential delays.
The second part of the update will bring you another six additional cars, a new track, and additional features. More details are expected closer to the release date.
Spec 4 follows the comprehensive Spec 3 update for the racing game, which also added numerous new vehicles to the game last year.
