I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream
What happens when humanity places its fate in the hands of a virtually omnipotent military AI? I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream offers a disturbing answer! After the super-AI named AM gains complete control, it wipes out nearly all of humanity—leaving only a few survivors. AM keeps these survivors artificially alive, only to torture them continuously for the past 109 years.
You’ll now take turns playing as AM’s victims and must face the sadistic puzzles and psychological trials that the super-AI has prepared for you. This horror adventure is not for the faint of heart, as it constantly explores themes such as guilt, madness, and atonement.
The original game was released back in 1995 and is based on the sci-fi short story of the same name by Harlan Ellison. Epic offers the emulation by Nightdive Studios.The German version of the game remains censored,so you can only play as four characters instead of five. River City Girls 2
Want to blow off some steam after that dark AI horror game? Then River City Girls 2 offers the perfect change of pace! In true Streets of Rage style, you’ll fight your way through the streets of River City, either alone or in co-op.
This anime-style beat ’em up picks up right after the events of the first game. The tough schoolgirls Misako and Kyoko, along with their friends Kunio and Riki, are back and must face off against the Yakuza, who are taking over the entire city. The only things that’ll help are epic moves, polished combos, and, of course, flying fists!
In River City Girls 2, you can eitherbattle solo or team up with three friends in co-opmode. You can play together on a local split screen or online. The story is told through anime cutscenes and manga panels.On Steam, the beat ’em uphas earned 85 percent positive reviews.
