Only a week ago, the open-world game received a huge update – and Pearl Abyss is already pushing out another one. This time, too, small fan requests are being taken into account.

The MMO past of the Korean developer studio Pearl Abyss is clearly noticeable inCrimson Desert&nbsp. While opinions differ on the open world and player guidance, we can probably all agree that the live service is exemplary:Not only do the developers now release huge updates every week, which fix many bugs and bring more comfort to the game – they also listen very carefully to the community!

The highlights of patch 1.02.00

  • Hide headgear: Many fans have been asking for the option to hide the helmet since launch. Previously, we could only flip up the visor – now there is the option to hide the tin can completely (or optionally only in cutscenes) if it doesn’t match our other aesthetics. To do this, go to “Other” – ‘Settings’ – “Language and game” in the menu and then click on “Show headgear” at the bottom

.

  • More storage space: The storage chest in the camp has been expanded to 1,000 slots. However, this depends on your camp progress: You can expand the camp in a total of five different stages, earning +100 slots each time and a whole +360 slots with the final expansion.

  • Old controls: Pearl Abyss recently introduced new controls for Kliff and the horse so that we no longer have to hammer the buttons so much to run and sprint. However, many people wanted the old controls back, which they had painstakingly got used to. This is now also possible. Go to the menu and select “Other” – “Settings” – ‘Input’ – “Control method (movement)”. If you select “Classic” here, you will get the controls that the game had on release.

  • A new armor for cats!!!

  • Many bug fixesfor quests, UI, performance, translations, etc.

A next update is already being planned. There, for example, the next fan wish will come true: Pearly Abyss states that they are already working on making it possible to hide weapons on Kliff’s back as well.

How do you like the changes? Are you still actively playing Crimson Desert or has the muse left you again? Or have the updates made you curious and are you thinking about getting back into the game? Feel free to let us know in the comments.

On the following page you will now find the full patch notes.(Click here to See Full Crimson Desert Patch Notes 1.02.00)
