The Swedish studioWayfinderhas announced its first title. Its ten-strong team consists in part of former DICE developers who worked on Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Battlefield, for example. However, Wyldheart is now a cozy co-op role-playing game.

The focus is on jointexplorationand dungeon crawling. Up to four players meet around the campfire, assemble their characters and then set off into gloomy crypts, slimy ruins and an overworld made up of hexagonal squares. Combat takes place in real time – with blocking, dodging and good timing – while you unlock new skills and stats via talent trees.

We were able to play Wyldheart together with the developers. You can find out how that went in our preview.

Wyldheart is set to launch in Early Access soon. You can currentlyadd it to your wishlist via Steam&nbsp.
