Money is usually given as a gift at weddings. Given the price of hardware, this gift is even better.

The prices of PC components have recently risen extremely in some cases. Memory, graphics cards, and processors have become so valuable that they are apparently also good wedding gifts.

Eternal love and good luck for the bride and groom

Valuable gifts are not uncommon at weddings. Money is often given as a gift, but expensive household appliances or jewelry are also popular presents for the bride and groom. And, at least in this case, high-end PC components.

The video doesn’t make it entirely clear whether the newlyweds are passionate gamers or whether it’s more of a joke. In any case, it shows a Turkish wedding where the bride and groom receive some curious gifts.

First, an RTX 5090 is hung around the neck of the newlywed husband. Then the bride receives a similar necklace with four RAM sticks attached to it. Last but not least, there is also an Intel processor on top.

It is actually customary at Turkish weddings to give the bride and groom gold or money. Given the extreme hardware prices, these are still very valuable gifts.

The situation is then explained in the post and comments. The friend is apparently a well-known streamer, which of course makes the gifts even more appropriate.

Apparently, not all of the components were given to the couple. So it may have been a complete high-end PC that was given as a gift. In any case, the couple’s delight at the hardware is written all over their faces.

While RAM prices continue to rise, Intel has unveiled a completely new concept. However, this will not be launched before 2030 and is unlikely to alleviate the current crisis.

In the comments, many users find the video funny and think the gifts are a good idea.

The question remains unanswered as to whether the newlyweds used their wedding night to host a LAN party.
