After the disaster that was Silent Hill: Revelation (2013), Christophe Gans, who already proved his ability to make decent horror films with Silent Hill (2006), is back in the director’s chair. In Return to Silent Hill, he now wants to devote himself to the story of the video game Silent Hill 2.

What it’s about: James Sunderland (Jeremy Irvine) receives a mysterious letter from his deceased wife, which leads him to the foggy small town of Silent Hill. There, he is not only confronted with his past, but also has to face the most gruesome creatures imaginable, including the legendary villain Pyramid Head.

Return to Silent Hill will be released in theaters on February 5, 2026.
