This week, Epic is giving away two gaming gems that you may have missed out on so far.
It’s Thursday again. What does that mean? A new batch of free games in the Epic Game Store, of course! This week, you can grab a powerful roguelite and a beautiful strategy game. Together, the two games would normally cost $47, but you can get them for free right now.
Songs of Silence

To mark its first anniversary, Songs of Silence is not only available in the Epic Games Store for the first time, but is also free for a week. The strategy game shines with its stylish aesthetics and mixes turn-based strategy with real-time combat and has on Steam, winning over 78 percent of players.
Across eight campaign maps, you follow the story of Queen Lorelai and her people as they search for a new home. You can play Songs of Silence alone, but also in online co-op and online PvP.

ScourgeBringer may not be particularly beautiful to look at at first glance, but it quickly makes up for this with fantastic gameplay. The 2D roguelite in a dark pixel style has 88 percent positive reviews on Steam!
You jump, climb, and fight your way through a post-apocalyptic world as a warrior, where pretty much everything is out to get you. According to Eurogamer, it’s reminiscent of a mixture of Celeste and Dead Cells.
