Battlefield 6 is in the starting blocks and won’t be slowing down after launch. The first roadmap for Season 1 has been announced.

Soon, the days until the release of Battlefield 6 can be counted on one hand. As the developers have already hinted, the launch is far from over.

The first wave of content will roll out in October 2025. We’ll summarize everything we know about Season 1 so far.

  • Season 1 start date
  • First roadmap and new content

Season 1 start date

The first season of Battlefield 6 will start on October 28, 2025, with Rogue Ops. It will continue on November 18 with California Resistance. The year will conclude on December 9 with the Winter Offensive.

The EA deal: Background on the new owners

In September 2025, it was announced that EA would be privatized and transferred to an investor consortium for approximately $54 billion. The new owners of EA include the Saudi Arabian sovereign wealth fund PIF and Affinity Partners, Jared Kushner’s investment firm. Saudi Arabia is accused of political and human rights abuses, such as the persecution of activists and journalists. There is also deep-rooted discrimination against minorities. Freedom of expression is structurally suppressed.
Jared Kushner, Donald Trump’s son-in-law, has repeatedly been criticized for dubious real estate deals, secret contacts with the Russian government, and allegations of corruption. Kushner also maintains close contact with Saudi Crown Prince and PIF Chairman Mohammed bin Salman.

Battlefield 6 has published a short roadmap for the first few months of Season 1. There you can see not only the launch dates, but also some of the new free content that will gradually expand the shooter:
