Fallout: London, a completely new installment in the series developed by fans using the Fallout 4 engine, was released in 2024. Now the game is getting a massive update.

Fallout fans can already look forward to the second season of the Amazon series, which will be released in December 2025, but now there’s even more good news. Fallout: London, released in July 2024, is getting new content and improvements!

The first Fallout in Europe was developed entirely by fans based on the Fallout 4 engine and already scored well in our review upon release, but now it’s set to get even bigger and better.

Update or even expansion?

The major update for Fallout: London is now available and includes not only thousands of bug fixes and improvements based on player feedback, but also a complete DLC called Rabbit & Pork. The update and DLC bring a whole bunch of new content for free:

  • 80 fully voiced NPCs with more than 8,000 new lines of dialogue
  • 30 new weapons and armor sets
  • 70 random encounters
  • A new animal companion and a customizable player house
  • New content for the various factions

The major update is also intended to address some of the biggest criticisms of Fallout: London, particularly the stability of the game and the complicated installation process. The fan-made Fallout will get a brand new launcher for the GOG version, which will simplify installation and allow you to play faster.

Big plans

But Fallout: London isn’t done yet with the new update and DLC. A second expansion called WildCard is planned, which will include a new ending for the main game, among other things. However, a release date has not yet been set. The developers also want to release a Kickstarter-funded Collector’s Edition .

Finally, the team behind Fallout: London is also revealing more about its own future. The modders have now joined forces to form a professional indie studio and want to develop their own games in the future.

After an initial entry-level game, the former modders want to tackle another large open-world role-playing game, similar to Fallout: London, but set in their own world.
