We bring you a compact overview of all the important PC releases on Steam this week – from strategy highlights to an alien shooter.

The biggest highlight of the current week is, of course, Ghost of Yotei. Unfortunately, PC gamers won’t be able to enjoy it, as the action blockbuster is being released exclusively for PlayStation 5.

Luckily, we won’t be bored: Steam has some exciting new releases in store for us. As usual, we’re bringing you a compact overview of the most important PC releases at the start of the week.

Highlight of the week: Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles

Genre: Tactical RPG – Developer: Square Enix – Release: September 30, 2025 (Steam)

The classic tactical RPG from 1997 returns in new splendor!  In Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles, you can choose between the original classic version with familiar pixel graphics or the enhanced version with heavily polished character models, fully voiced cutscenes, and an optional new difficulty level for beginners.

At its heart is the famously flexible job system: With over 20 professions—from alchemist and warrior to white and black mage—you’ll learn hundreds of skills and can freely combine them between classes. Add to that collectible monsters like chocobos, which you can integrate into your army as allies.

For the first time, you also have to deal with random events and train disruptions.
  • LEGO Party!: This family-friendly party game invites up to four players to enjoy over 60 mini-games. Four themes—Ninjago, Pirates, Space, and an amusement park—provide challenges ranging from races to brick breaking. In addition to couch co-op, LEGO Party also supports cross-platform online matches.

  • Digimon Story Stranger: After a hiatus of almost ten years, Bandai Namco’s monster collector role-playing game is back. As a member of the secret organization ADAMAS, you travel through time and between the real world and the Digi-Universe to uncover a conspiracy. In battle, you collect, breed, and train over 450 Digimon, which you develop via non-linear evolutionary paths and use in turn-based combat.

That’s it for our release overview for this week – and for September. You can review all the important new releases of the month in the video above. In October, we will continue as usual, with major releases such as Battlefield 6, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, and many more.
