A sale that breaks all the rules

When Sony invites you to a discount battle, it does it right: The PlayStation Store is currently running the “On your marks, get set, PlayStation!”. This is one of the biggest discount campaigns of the year. Over 2,700 games have been reduced in price, and if you click through the huge selection, you’ll find new titles on each of the more than 100 pages.

What’s special is that some classics have been reduced by almost their entire purchase price. This means that you can add a full-fledged blockbuster to your shelf for less than the price of a movie ticket. For many gamers, this is a welcome opportunity to finally check off games from their wish lists that may have been too expensive at full price.

From classics to insider tips – these deals are worth it

The selection is dizzying, but a few names immediately catch the eye. For example, the Batman: Arkham Collection is available for just $5.99 – a whopping 90 percent off. Hogwarts Legacy (€14.99) and Red Dead Redemption 2 (€14.99) are also available at competitive prices. Role-playing fans will also be excited about Ni no Kuni 2, which is currently available for just $9.79 with an 86 percent discount.

But it’s not just the big names that are on offer: indie gems such as Cult of the Lamb and Pacific Drive are also heavily discounted. Nostalgics should also take a look at Persona 4 Golden, which is available for less than ten euros. Those who prefer modern action can get Cyberpunk 2077 or Resident Evil Village at prices that would have been considered impossible just a few months ago.

One thing is clear: if you browse a little, you’ll discover treasures for every taste in this sale. Precisely because there are many new releases coming up in the fall, this is the perfect opportunity to bridge the waiting time with affordable highlights.
