Since Gamescom, we finally know pretty much everything about World of Warcraft: Midnight. The second part of the World Soul add-on trilogy not only finally brings one of the most requested features in two decades of WoW into the game, but also delivers many other really useful improvements. And all of this is once again under Blizzard’s latest favorite term, “evergreen features” – innovations that will benefit us in all future expansions and are not only relevant in Midnight.

This change in design philosophy and the associated more open communication from the developers has been very well received by players and has ensured that the sometimes rather negative mood has improved significantly since the Dragonflight add-on. The latest expansion and trilogy start, The War Within, has also done a lot of things right, so the anticipation for Midnight is probably well justified.
