John Wick Hex is a mix of action and tactics and if that piques your interest, you’d better hurry.
In 2019, John Wick Hex was the only officially licensed game in the film series. Instead of a brutal shooter, however, the single-player game is a mixture of turn-based strategy and action in which, as in the movie, the focus is on the most precisely choreographed approach possible.

John Wick Hex will be removed from sale
In a message on Steam publisher Big Fan Games announces that John Wick Hex will be removed from all stores starting as of July 17, 2025 and can no longer be purchased. The company does not give a reason.
However, if you already have the game in your library, you can still download and play it. So if you were thinking of buying John Wick Hex: The window to do so will close in less than 72 hours. Physical editions will also continue to work.
Unfortunately, Big Fans Games will not be offering the game, for example on Steam once again at a discount towards the end. The price is regularly 20 euros. The same applies to the console versions.

How does John Wick Hex play?
In the game, you plan your actions in advance in a round and then see in real time whether your plan is working. On a timeline, you put together a kind of choreography from movements, attacks and the use of objects and then execute it.
The whole thing is presented in a celshaded look accompanied by an electronic soundtrack. Unfortunately, the game lacks variety and the randomly generated levels can cause frustration. John Wick Chronicles was once a VR game a few years ago, but since it has already been taken off the market, John Wick Hex is the last official licensed game based on the films.
